Mudras

MUDRAS

Mudras are ancient symbolic hand gestures rooted in yoga, meditation, and healing traditions, used for thousands of years to direct and balance the body’s subtle energy, or prana. The word “mudra” comes from Sanskrit, meaning “seal” or “gesture,” and each one is formed by a specific placement of the fingers that creates a closed energy circuit, connecting the five elements — fire, air, space, earth, and water — represented by the thumb and fingers. Practicing mudras regularly supports physical healing by improving circulation and calming the nervous system, helps release emotional stress and negative energy while promoting inner peace and stability, and deepens spiritual connection by strengthening focus and intuition during meditation. No special equipment is needed, making mudras one of the simplest yet most powerful tools you can use anytime, anywhere, for holistic self-healing and lasting inner balance.
